Sun Jihai (China head coach) : « The result is not the main goal »
China snatched a late draw against Qatar on Tuesday in Salon-de-Provence (1-1). Sun Jihai gave his feeling about the game.
"Actually, the result is not the main goal when we play here. We are glad to have the opportunity to compete against other countries and face the world level. We need to be better on our tactics.
Qatar and England are two different opponents. England are more physical, they play slowly. Today, Qatar was more eager to win than us. They put a lot of pressure on us. I think we have to play more like during our first game.
To never give up is a point we always mention to the players. You have to keep fighting until the final whistle."
