Axel Bakayoko (France forward) : « A good experience »
After he scored during the win of France over Canada (2-1), Axel Bakayoko told his feelings about the game and the Tournament did by France.
"Globally, it was a good game, a bit complicated but luckily for us, we scored this first goal which put us at ease. The second half was a little bit more difficult. We had some difficulties and during the last ten minutes, we started to suffer. But we did a good game.
It is a satisfying tournament even if the aim has not been reached, because we wanted to win this tournament. We applied ourselves during each games.
On a personal plan, I think I've had a good tournament, I felt comfortable. On a positive point, we played four games, the four were good, even if we lacked some determination against Scotland the other day, which cost us the loss. It will serve us for the future, we will learn about our mistakes.
My personal goal was to win the tournament with my team. But it was firstly a collective aim. It was a good experience."
