Several Togolese youngsters earned their first senior call-up after impressing at the Maurice Revello Tournament
Before the summer, for their first participation ever at the Maurice Revello Tournament, Togo clinched the eight place. This performance caught the eye of the senior national team head coach Claude Le Roy. The latter has decided to select for the first time several youngsters who distinguished themselves during the Maurice Revello Tournament : the defender Messan Toudji (Anges FC), the midfielders Thomas Wogodo (Future Stars Agoe) and Bilali Akoro (AS OTR) as well as the forward Kévin Denkey (Nîmes Olympique).
Aged between 18 and 21, all of them are hoping to make their international debut during the African Cup of Nations 2019 qualifier against Bénin on 9th September.
