Dream debut for Helder Costa with Portugal

Called up to the Portugal senior team over the last days for the first time of his career, Helder Costa has been handed his international debut by the head coach Fernando Santos during the friendly against Scotland (3-1).
The Wolves attacking midfielder has repaid the faith shown in him as he scored for his first appearance at the international level. After 43 minutes, Helder Costa netted the opener after converting a cross from Kevin Rodrigues.

Except Helder Costa, a number of players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament have been included in the Seleçao starting XI : Beto, Cédric, Ruben Dias, Sergio Oliveira, Danilo Pereira et Bruno Fernandes.
