Janina Hechler gets first Gemany call-cup
At only 19, Janina Hechler boasts a solid reputation : already 37 games played in Bundesliga and a participation to the last U20 World Cup with Germany.
In the upcoming weeks, she could add another honour to her resume as the young midfielder has been selected for the first time ever with the Germany senior national team for the friendlies against Italy and Spain (10th and 13th November).
“We’re always keen to bring in interesting players from our youth setup. Janina and Sydney have impressed for both the youth teams and their club sides. It’s important to get a look at them at this level and see what they bring to the table and how they adapt”, said the head coach Horst Hrubesch.
Few months after taking part in the Sud Ladies Cup 2018, Hechler could have the opportunity to announce herself on the international scene.
