David Doniga Lara (Panama manager) : « A great moment »
For David Donigra Lara, Panama's coach, it is a "great pride" to play the 48th edition of the Maurice Revello Tournament.
Panama will play in the Maurice Revello Tournament for the first time in their history, to the delight of David Donigra Lara, the coach who arrived on the bench in 2021. "It is a great pride, joy and illusion for the players to represent their country in this tournament that they have watched on television since they were child. It will be a very special moment for all of us. We have to take advantage of being able to play against teams that represent world champions."

Panama, who will play in Group A, will face France, Argentina and Saudi Arabia. "It will be a very special moment and we are looking forward to facing players who represent the elite. My players are going to face top level teams. They will be able to show their performance against such high caliber teams. They will also have the opportunity to show that they are great players, capable of playing in any league. Almost all of the players selected play for Central and South American clubs."
For their first match in the tournament, Panama will play against the French team on May 29, at 5:30 p.m., at the Stade de Lattre, in Aubagne. "It will be a great moment for the whole country to hear the national anthem in such an important tournament," said David Donigra Lara.
