Announcement : replacement of Togo in the group B
Following the very late withdrawal of the Togo national team, the Maurice Revello Tournament’s organisation had discussions with several national teams in order to fill the 12th spot over the last days. The competition’s staff would like to thank all these nations for their responsiveness.
Unfortunately, the very short timing has prevented all these nations to be able to participate to the 49th edition which will be held from 5th to 18th June.
Given the situation, the Maurice Revello Tournament organisation has called on a selection of U21 and U20 talents based in the region in order to replace Togo in the group B composed of Qatar, Mexico and Australia, in agreement with these three nations.
This team will be called “Mediterranean team”.
The Maurice Revello Tournament organisation is looking forward to welcome all the fans from this Monday 5th June to attend numerous international games in the stadiums of Aubagne, Arles, Fos-sur-Mer, Salon-de-Provence, Mallemort and Miramas.
