Marc Guehi arrives at City
Crystal Palace's solid captain, Marc Guehi, has taken a prestigious step forward by joining reigning champions Manchester City. The England international centre-back, who played in the Maurice Revello Tournament in 2019, has signed for an estimated £23 million (plus bonuses) on a five-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the Citizens until June 2031. Joao Cancelo returns to Barça
After months of uncertainty, the love affair between Joao Cancelo and FC Barcelona is back on track. The Portuguese full-back, who played in the Tournament in 2014, returns to Catalonia on a €4 million loan from Al-Hilal. The agreement, which runs until June 2026, also provides for the Blaugrana club to cover part of his salary. Still as technical as ever, the former Benfica player will bring a more offensive profile and experience to Hansi Flick's squad for the end of the season.

Conor Gallagher, Spurs' new playmaker
Conor Gallagher faces a new challenge in London. The midfielder, who won the Maurice Revello Tournament in 2019 with England, joins Tottenham in a transfer estimated at €40 million. The former Chelsea player, who arrived from Atlético Madrid, has signed a long-term contract with the north London club. Known for his impressive work rate, Gallagher returns to the Premier League where his box-to-box profile will be a valuable asset in the race for European football.

Radamel Falcao returns to Colombia...
The idol is back on home soil. Radamel Falcao, crowned top scorer and winner of the tournament in 2004, has come full circle by signing with Millonarios. Arriving on a free transfer after leaving Rayo Vallecano, ‘El Tigre’ has initially signed until 30 June 2026. At 39, he is taking on one last exciting challenge in his native country, bringing invaluable experience to the Bogota club, where he is returning after a previous spell.

... and Hector Herrera in Houston
The Mexican midfielder, who has been a stalwart for a decade, is continuing his MLS adventure. The player who was voted best player of the tournament in 2012 is extending his time with Houston Dynamo by signing a new contract as a free agent. The Mexican playmaker has committed to the Texas club until the end of the 2026 season, with an option for an additional year (June 2027). His leadership remains a central pillar for the American franchise.

Young talents on the move
This winter transfer window has also seen several recent Tournament revelations move on to new clubs. Amir Richardson (2022) joins FC Copenhagen on loan from Fiorentina with an option to buy set at €9 million. In Germany, Borussia Mönchengladbach welcomes Japanese defender Kota Takai (2022) on a six-month loan. Leeds United, meanwhile, has signed Argentine talent Facundo Buonanotte (2022) on a dry loan until the end of the season after his premature departure from Chelsea. Another Argentine player in 2022, Valentin Carboni, is returning to Argentina to join Racing Club on loan from Inter Milan until December 2026.
