No problem for France against USA
Le début de la première période était à l'avantage des Français. Pourtant ni Ntep, ni Mayi ne parvenaient à tromper la vigilance des "Yanks".
Il fallait attendre la fin des 40 premières minutes pour voir les coéquipiers d'Eysseric trouver le chemin des filets. Sur un coup-franc du Monégasque, Coeff poussait le ballon d'une superbe aile de pigeon (38). Deux minutes plus tard c'est Imbula qui aggravait le score aux 18 mètres profitant d'une erreur de main de Cropper (40).
En seconde période Mayi passait tout près de mettre les Américains à terre mais sa frappe heurtait le poteau (54).
Les hommes de Tab Ramos revenaient dans le match à huit minutes de la fin grâce à un somptueux coup-franc de Joya Jimenez à l'entrée de la surface (72).
Mais l'espoir des USA ne durait pas longtemps. Dès son entrée en jeu et sur son premier ballon, le Niçois Stéphane Bahoken envoyait une demi-volée à bout portant et crucifiait Cropper (76).
Dans les toutes dernières secondes de jeu, Ghezzal profitait d'un placement approximatif des défenseurs pour lober le portier des USA (80+3).

France did a great entry in the Tournament. The players of Willy Sagnol won against USA thanks to Coeff (38), Imbula (40), Bahoken (76) and Ghezzal (80+3). Benjamin Jimenez scored a free-kick for US team (72).
The beginning of the first half-time was at the advantage of France. Even, neither Ntep, nor Mayi managed to cheat the vigilance of the Yanks.
The teammates of Valentin Eysseric find the way of the goal in the last minute of the half. Coeff scored a beautiful goal with a flicked backheel volley (38). Two minutes after that, Imbula kicked from the 18th meters and scored thanks to a mistake of Cropper (40).
The players of Tab Ramos came back in the game with a free kick of Jimenez (72).
Unfortunately that was not for a long time. As soon as his entry, Bahoken shot at poink blank range and crucify Cropper (76).
In the extra-time France put a fourth goal with Ghezzal who take advantage of a bad positioning of Cropper and scored a beautiful lob (80+3).
