Des matches se sont déroulés un peu partout en Europe en milieu de semaine et certains anciens joueurs du Festival International Espoirs ont brillé.
En Espagne, Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) a affolé les compteurs en inscrivant un quadruplé face à Elche (5-1). Le double Ballon d’Or a inscrit neuf buts en seulement quatre rencontres de Liga !
Toujours dans le même championnat, André Gomes (Portugal – 2013) a marqué son premier but pour Valencia lors de la victoire son équipe face à Getafe (3-0).
Dans les autres championnats, deux Japonais sont en train de réaliser un excellent début de saison. Lors du match nul entre Empoli et l’AC Milan (2-2), Keisuke Honda (Japon – 2008) a égalisé pour les Rossoneri et a inscrit, au passage, son troisième but en quatre rencontres de Serie A.
En Allemagne, un autre joueur nippon fait parler de lui : Shinji Okazaki (Japon – 2008). L’attaquant de Mayence a inscrit son cinquième but en autant de rencontres de Bundesliga face à Francfort (2-2).
Enfin, Pablo Osvaldo (Italie – 2008) a marqué le but de la journée en Serie A. L’attaquant de l’Inter Milan a ouvert le score face à l’Atalanta (2-0) grâce à une magnifique reprise acrobatique.

In Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) proved again that he is a goal machine. The Portuguese notched four times and helped Real Madrid to destroy Elche (5-1). The Real Madrid striker scored nine goals in only four Liga games ! In the same championship, André Gomes (Portugal – 2013) scored for the first time with Valencia during the win of his team against Getafe (3-0).
In the other European championships, two Japanese are making a very good start to the season. During the draw between Empoli and AC Milan (2-2), Keisuke Honda (Japan – 2008) equalized for the Rossoneri and scored his third goal in four Serie A games.
In Germany, another Japanese player distinguished himself : Shinji Okazaki (Japan – 2008). The Mainz striker scored his fifth goal in as many Bundesliga games again Frankfurt (2-2).
To finish, Pablo Osvaldo (Italy – 2008) has probably scored one of the most beautiful goals of his career. The Inter Milan forward has opened the score against Atalanta (2-0) thanks to an acrobatic volley.
