Qatar booked a place in the next FIFA U20 World Cup
Durant cette dernière, le Qatar est resté invaincu. Un parcours sans faute ponctué par un succès en finale face à la Corée du Nord (1-0). Le but victorieux fut inscrit par Akram Afif, passé par le tournoi cet été.
Si l’équipe qatarienne a connu le sacre, elle le doit en partie à deux joueurs ayant disputé le Festival cet été. Il s’agit d’Ahmad Al-Sadi et d’Ahmad Moein Doozandeh. Le premier a terminé meilleur buteur du championnat d’Asie U19 tandis que le second a été élu meilleur joueur de la compétition.
Durant le Festival International Espoirs 2014, le Qatar avait obtenu des matches nuls face à la Corée et la Colombie et s’était incliné face à l’Angleterre et le Brésil.

Qatar, which took part in the Toulon Tournament 2014, booked a place in the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup. Qataris earned this place in becoming the Asian U19 champions for the first time of their history.
During the AFC U19 Championship, Qataris remained undefeated. They concluded their tournament with a final win against Korea DPR (1-0). The winning-goal was scored by Akram Afif, who contested the Festival, this summer.
Qatar won the championship and can especially thank two players who took part the Toulon Tournament 2014 : Ahmad Al-Sadi and Ahmed Moein Doozandeh. The first finished as the tournament top-scorer while the second was named best player of the AFC U19 Championship.
During the Toulon Tournament 2014, Qatar earned a draw against South Korea and Colombia and was beaten by England and Brazil.
