Moultrie and Albert made their USA bow
Every international break is an opportunity for a number of talented players who have come through the Sud Ladies Cup to make their debut with their national team at the senior level. This was the case in recent days for two Americans, winners of the Sud Ladies Cup in 2022: Olivia Moultrie and Korbin Albert.
During the international break in December, the USA hosted China in a double friendly. It was an ideal platform for the American staff to continue their squad review : seven players made their international debuts for USA in 2023.
One of the players to benefit from this renewal process was Jaedyn Shaw last November. In the last few days, two other winners of the Sud Ladies Cup 2022 have been offered the same opportunity: Olivia Moultrie and Korbin Albert.
Moultrie, the promising 18-year-old midfielder, came on as a substitute in the first friendly match against China (3-0) in Fort Lauderdale for her baptism of fire.

For her side, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Albert got her chance in the second match against the Chinese (2-1) in Texas.
