Hélio Sousa (coach of Portugal) : "Not the final place that we hoped"
"Finally we can put in the final score what he did in the field. We played liked the other games. The many chances that we create to score goals and the two other games. We worked to deficient enough to put at in the final score. We can do it today. We came here with, I thinh with Qatar, the youngest team of the tournament. This last prepare us to be competitive for the U18 European Championship that will play in june. We want to have conditions to win other games… We had but we missed somtehing to put that in the final result.
I’m really happy with my players. They have always a great compromise with the game. Try always to accomplish what we ask for. It’s not the final place that we hoped and fight for.
It’s always important to win. It’s easier to growing winning. We haven’t lost any game this year until play here. We know the contest. We know i twill be always difficult because players that are one or two years older than ours. Here they have an another kind of competition that give them much maturity.
My team and I were very happy to be here. We know the contest. We wanted to play the final. I hope my players will stay with good memories here. Results are not the most important for us for this time."
